I'm thinking about getting a PPL and live near YCD which has two flight schools. I've spoken to instructors at both schools and both seem okay to me. Anyone have suggestions as to which one is better and why?
Nanaimo flight center
or vital aviation
Thanks a lot!
Which school?

James, that is a tough question to answer.
But go back to each school and ask them what their average time is to complete the PPL.....TC quotes 45 hours.
If their answer is it takes more hours but won't give you an answer it indicates you are in for a long ride once you start.
So let us know what each school told you...then maybe we can give you more advice.
Once you are in their grasp it can get real expensive.
Have you thought about buying your own airplane and learning on it then after you get tired of it sell it?
I know where you can find a reasonably cheap Cessna 150 ready to go.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
