KLN 90B PC Trainer

Hi all,

Does anyone have a PC-based trainer for the KLN 90B? I was able to find the 89B simulator, but not the 90B.

Any information you guys have is helpful.

Hi,

as far as I know there is only the CD version of the KLN90B trainer. I think King gives it to you when you buy the GPS unfortunatly. I think you can buy it if you contact Bendix/King. Another bad point is that there is only a small database covering the Denver CO area. But for practicing the functions, it's not too bad.

I downloaded a 90B demo from Bendix a few years ago. Worked well enough. It was free and it was functional.

I got a copy of the KLN90B CD trainer however it's a few years old and conflicts with Window XP for some reason, by freezing up from time to time. I don't know if you have checked with

theyhave the KLN89 as the free download if you're interested.

I sent an email to Bendix to see if they would put up the free download for the 90B. I find it's not user friendly and you have to spend some time on it to remain current.
