I think it is quite a feat of engineering to have some dinner table sized lander spend 9.5 months traveling through space to land in a predetermined area...

I think there's way too much happening in the world right now for people to put too much attention on this.... it's unfortunate though because as you said... it is quite impressive. I still hope they build Enterprise before I die :mrgreen:

I've been keeping an eye since the landing - very cool stuff! They figure they've already found ice... right beneath the lander! :D

Also... the space shuttle launched yesterday evening - quite the show there as well :)
