Gatineau Water Aerodrome
Hey guys,
Does anyone know if Gatineau Water Aerodrome has fuel? I don't have a water CFS with me right now and never been there. Just trying to plan something.
Thanks.

If I remember correctly, they removed their pumps and shutdown a few years ago... "Blakey" might be able to confirm that for you...
Your best bet is to fly a little more to the south west (about 7-10 mins in a 180/185 from the old Gatineau seaplane base) and fuel up at Constance Lake... Try to grab a bite to eat there if you've got time... best aviator breakfasts in the region!

I would agree with twotterflogger... however you better be prepared to pay about 20-30 cents more on a litre than anywhere else... If cost is a factor go to Arnprior(CNP3). Really nice people there and quite possibly(not for sure however) the best price on 100LL in the area. Give them a call though first before you go because they have to drive down the hill to the dock to fuel you.
Re: Gatineau Water Aerodrome
I concur with both posts. Constance Lake is better if you're looking to grab a bite but the fuel is cheaper in Arnprior. Excellent people at both stops. The last I was at Gatineau was about 7 years ago and the marina was forcing the float planes out then so I imagine they've gone now.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you!

Thanks for the info guys. I'll look into both places. =)
