Anyone done it?
Looking at a few tour providers (Esprit, Owl)
I'm a fish outta water, but have never been rafting.

Rafting is for whoosie boys. Ya want a Kayak or a canoe, something you can actually be resposible for, otherwise ride a roller coaster and call it skillful. Also...I've looked all over Ottawa, Kan here, and while we have a nice river ( Marias Des Cygnes) running right thru the middle of town, I don't see any white water. Lotsa white folks, but the water is kinda brownish. I'd suggest Colorado or Utah, maybe the Snake River in Idaho for your rafting.

Owl is the way to go if your going, prices are good about 75.00 a head and they give you a lunch near the end of your tour, hamburgers, salade, cookies etc.
The guides are great/lots of fun, but as above, the rapids are pretty shallow but a fun day out with friends and family.
They film the whole thing as well if you want to purchase, and they also show it at the end with everyone back at the docks.
Going again in August with some family, you'll love it
