Two planes down in SK.
Twa lost a beaver owned by Scott Lake lodge and Meadow Air lost a push pull by Buffalo. All okay from what I heard.
Re: Two planes down in SK.
Great to hear they all survived! Buffalo's been really smokey lately (down to a mile sometimes) I wonder if that was a factor.
Re: Two planes down in SK.
Just heard from the news that the push pull was on a return flight from YSF and ran out of fuel. It was the pilots first day on the machine.

Ugh... I'd hate to be in his shoes right now. Regardless of what the cause was, on you first day...igloo wrote:Just heard from the news that the push pull was on a return flight from YSF and ran out of fuel. It was the pilots first day on the machine.
Anyway, hopefully you're right any nobody was seriously hurt in either one.
no sig because apparently quoting people in context is offensive to them.

Wow I saw this guy just yesterday! The one quoted in the article above, Forestry guy in I think a C337 Skymaster, he cut me off as I was taxiing off Alpha onto Bravo, he was coming from the ramp out to Courtesy's hangar. Crazy.

Sheila, I'll pay you the compliment of being blunt.
The only other way to spell it out would be to get a Chinese font and type it out.igloo wrote:

Oh and make that 3 planes. Another private 206 did the flippy flippy... (Pilot is ok) Makes a good add for Aerocet floats. This picture was taken 28 hours after the "landing" and the fuselage is not grounded out...

Excellent equipment, great operation! Too busy to think about anything but fuel loads and that kind of thing. Presently time-X'd and on days off. Also, lots of help on the dock. Just don't forget to chain the dog up!
