The oh so smart, ( insert sarcasm here) Greenshit idea of S. Dion of the Liberals will not only raise the cost of everything, but it will cripple aviation even more. The great plan of Dion's will among other things, triple the tax on Jet Fuel!!!
IMHO I would urge anyone interested in aviation to vote for anyone but DION in the sure to come election!!

What is up with the West and their hate to the east?
I've been to the east and dont hear as much hate about the western provinces as much as I do the other way around. The Calgary sun cries about the media such as CBC being bias, and yet they always say negative things about anything in the west. ALWAYS!!!

It isn't that people in the west "hate" the east (central Canada). What many in the west "hate" is the Liberal party's politics that leaves the western provinces disenfranchised from the governence of the country. You may not have noticed, but since the conservatives formed the government, talk of western alienation, PQ separtism, and divisive politics in general have significantly faded away. Compare that to whenever the Liberals are in power. The Liberal's political strategy during my lifetime has always seemed to be built on a platform of divide the regions and then paint yourself as the glue necessary to hold the country together. Keep the population bickering over regional issues while the Liberals in Ottawa plunder the treasury.
