Sunwing Airlines

So what is happening with them now? I hear they are still hiring. Have any of the terms and conditions improved? Are the current pilots happy there? Must be because not too many complaints about them here.

Their training guys are happy...one of them called me three times in a couple of months to update me on how much money he was making. I must admit his T4 was impressive.

I've heard the same from three friends there. It's all good and they're happy with the job... which is good to hear. I did hear a weird rumor about Sunwing/ACPA... and some money.

So what is so weird? So what if ACPA gave the Sunwing pilots some $$$ to help them certify.

Weird is bad choice of words on my part. It's actually to the betterment of the industry if you help improve another company's working conditions.

I had just never heard of this idea; its 'interesting'.

It's not the first time. Last year, ACPA also assisted the Skyservice pilots in their preparations for Negots. It's called raising the bar.

Really? Or is it called an agenda to maintain the concept of independant pilot associations vs a national pilot association? Pretty transparent.
