The low down.

1. Ubisoft : software company.

They add software protection to their products. This protection causes problems for PAYING customers, NOT the pirates.

2. Ubisoft SOLVES this problem by using PIRATE software.

3. Ubisoft is a hypocrite.

Ubisoft MADE the problem in the first place. They solved it with an "illegal" solution [ from their point of view ].

Electronic Arts is using software protection [ ONLY FIVE INSTALLS ] on their products like SPORE.

How long until customers get really mad over this? Won't take long. Many

PAYING, HONEST customers will get pissed off. Installing games five times doesn't take long at all.

What is EA going to do? Use a pirate hack to solve the problem THEY made in the first place?

By attacking the paying customer, you are pissing off the people who are SUPPORTING you.

You are NOT stopping piracy, and you are NOT pissing them off.

To my knowledge, I have not bought anything from Ubisoft.

I have a hypothesis. EA is going to be sued in the states.

I really hope EA loses billions of dollars.

Here's a list of Ubisoft's games and some more info about the stupid decisions they have made.

While still not perfect, Valve's Steam and Stardock's Impulse are much better ways to buy games.
