Thank you
Thank you
Re: Bombardier Jobs ?
Life's good. Best job I've ever had in terms of lifestyle, conditions and pay?
Three names were already nominated for interviews for the two positions. All were internal reco's.

Re: Bombardier Jobs ?
It does NOT always work that an internal candidate gets it.
"Apply for every job that you want, not just those that you think you can get"
That gets Trey Kule really cheesed off, a good enough reason to repeat it!

"What's it doing now?"

Re: Bombardier Jobs ?
Monsieur,
I did not say that is always the case, just that this particular time they moved pretty quickly with internal reco's to fill the gap quickly.
I got in on internal reco as well, but the guy that got me in just happened to talk to the right person at the right time, so definitely apply for every job you would like to get!

Hey Foxe,
If you get the job I'll use you as an internal reference....

Re: Bombardier Jobs ?
I'm making the same scratch as an F/O here as I was making as a captain on a B1900 and PC12 for a quarter of the flying. I actually have a family life now, which is an interesting change!
As far as upgrades, timing will vary. I'm eight months in so far, not sure how long it will take. I can tell you that you are trained as a captain and all PF duties are from the left seat.I can also tell you that for me personally a captain spot here is my retirement gig!
As the name implies we are the Canadian division of the fractional owner program, but we actually do more flying in support of the head office.

Are you in a hurry? I'm not that smart but I suspect getting into those doors is maybe the largest privilege in Canadian aviation. Not to be mistaken for an Air Canada grunt job. Background research will indicate that this is THE 'Ultra' corporate job. This is a retirement career opportunity. A job for life.
It seems Cap'n P8 works @ Bombardier and the manner he has replied to your question reflects the high level of professionalism there.
A company like Bombardier...people just don't leave, there is no stop watch to anyone's upgrade I suspect. This is the problem with Canadian aviation, no one is interested in seasoning their career...nothing worth while comes easy...Believe me...I KNOW!
How would I sound if I asked this question "Bombardier???....what do they do?"
Please don't get me wrong I'm not picking on you. I'm just running into a lot of people lately that are looking for instant satisfaction with their careers without patience. Time has a way of exposing things....and that includes the truth.
Your question is a valid one...I'm just going through 'MAN o pause'
Carry on and good luck should you apply
Re: Bombardier Jobs ?
Well, I am birddog, after 2000 hrs on Jet and more than 5000 hrs TT, yes I have big interest on promotion because Capt"s seat means $$$. I did my part and I'm tired of the poor salary as a F/O and go one step back every time you're getting in a company which seems appropriate for you. I'm not out of the college, I have a family to take care and would like to buy a house one time !! And I want to do the right move and the final one !!
Cheers

All kidding aside...I do hope you get everything you need and more in and out of this business...however the line runs long and wide for that "ALL Canadian Dream". Everyone has their story and a struggle associated to it.
Cheers right back to ya, I hope it works out for ya!?
PS: Btw...what does Bombardier really do now a days?
