Problems with youtube

Post by Freddy_Francis »

Everytime I try to watch a video id say 7 out of 10 don't work. Saying at the top "we sorry, this video is no longer available" Did I turn on some sort of setting? Has anybody else had this problem. Im not sure what it is because some times the same video will work on my other computer.

Just curious if anybody else has had this problem

put mouse over video and right click and see what it says...

something weird going on, why would a third party be asking for permission to your computer and micro phone

go to advanced settings after you have right clicked and read the data, privacy settinsg etcetc

or go here

Occasionally videos are pulled down from youtube. PM one of the useless ones to me, and I'll confirm whether it works on my machine or not.

Try disabling Google Web Accelerator if you've got it.
Weird that they are the same company and they're incompatible.

I know alot of "corporate" videos are being pulled...you won't see anything from NBC on there. But ya i've tried the "see if it works on my computer" and it's really random. I thought it was a Vista thing maybe, first problem id have encountered with the so called "Doom software of vista" It's getting a little annoying especailly since peoplem post some cool vids on this forum and I get that stupid message. Who else is getting the same message?

This just gets worse and worse, I downloaded firefox, it starts up and says it can't find any websites. Nevermind trying to get on youtube. I have an HP E6300 Intel Core 2, Duo Processor, this computer is only 2 years old, This problem is relatively new. This internet block is also a case when I try to download real world weather for Flight Sim X (wasn't for Fs2004 on same computer) and if I try to use a music downloading program. Im kinda low on idea's. Could this be a vrisu? my scanner has said nothing is on the pc.

For those using Internet Explorer go to...

1-Tools
2-Internet options
3-Connections
4-LAN settings
5-Unclick box that says detect "automatically detect settings"

Worked for me...hope this helps anyone else
