Also consider that if you are of weight and check in baggage that is over 50 lbs per luggage and this glutton of 350 has same policy kind a stinks....after all they are over not including luggage!
I heard a charge per pound was coming out ,,,they will probably allow for the 10 to 20 over but then....you pay!

Airlines should place heavy people in the back seats, less tail down force, shallower angle of attack, & better fuel efficiency. Now there's an IDEA
And as a result, better pay? let's encourage obese passengers !
Where ever basic PPL theory went.

Didn't happen that long ago to me... All 120 lbs of me was squished into the window... That was an extremely uncomfortable 2.5 hours. I thought it was odd how I was the one eating and he didn't - then again - it was a muffin with grapes.

Why don't they have a standard coach seat at the check in desk?
Just like the cage you are supposed to put your carry on to make sure it isn't to big. If you can't fit in the seat, you must pay extra.
In addition to cutting airline fuel costs and personal space issues, it would also cut down the the amount of FAD (Fat Ass Damage) that occurs to coach seats when people of size try to fit in them.

Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?

I agree thats almost better, put a seat at the check in and if you don't fit you pay for two, also put the seat in front of everyone so as to encourage skinny and discourage obese seat destroyers;)
Re: How airlines deal with 'customers of size'
oh and as with carry on bags .... slowly over time so no one notices make the seat smaller and smaller

With all the comments about gluttons and fat slobs God forbid that any of you skinny people ever end up adding a few pounds in your old age. You'll be reaping what you're sowing.
Funny how the skinny runts always ran behind the fat guys when they were about to get pounded by someone... guess that's a different viewpoint.
I'd like the airlines to start charging more for any passengers who board the aircraft and make life miserable. How about those with bad breath... WHOOOOO those stinkers can turn a normal trip into torture. And what about those who have bad B.O? Let's toss those people off at the first taxiway. The frequent flyer who's had a few nips before take-off, not enough to be denied boarding mind you but the stench of alcohol wafting over can make you retch. Nowadays so many passengers turn up with laptops, slowing down the line at security while the laptop is dabbed down for chemicals, making a fuss in their seat when they are setting it up, asking if they can put their coffee on your fold down tray since they're using theirs for the laptop... shoot those people. Come on, there must be a huge amount of angst against your fellow passengers for a lot of other stuff?
I don't like people next to me taking more than their 'fair share' of space either, but just cause you aint fat gives you no right to to dictate other people's lifestyles. If they fit in the seat, it's theirs. Airlines have NEVER been generous to normal class passengers in the seat size department anyway.

Having a standard that pilots lose their licence after making a mistake despite doing no harm to aircraft or passengers means soon you needn't worry about a pilot surplus or pilots offering to fly for free. Where do you get your experience from?
