Winter is around the corner and with it comes snowflakes, Santa, and.. crew changes. So a question.. in unpressurized aircraft I find it's better to get up high and put these guys to sleep. I pose a question.. how high and how long can we go before these guys go into a coma or suffer any (obvious) brain damage?

I've taken them up to 16,000 they are still kicking up there. There was O2 for all on board, they just didn't know about it!

lol, yup can definetly tell the ones on here with a sense of humour.
As for rig pigs it depends on if your taking them into camp or out of camp. Into Camp probably a lower altitude because they got tanked the night before knowing there camp was dry and they wouldn't see booze for a few weeks. But ya guys try to show the same profesionalism the rig pigs display on an everyday bases in your cockpit.

Here's a table from Wikipedia. They seem a little on the optimistic side. I've done the hypobaric chamber and after 2.5 minutes at 25000', I couldn't write my own name or count to 3...

What you need to determine before you choose an altitude sufficient enough to pacify your standard friendly rigger is to determine what narcotic substance/'s he has ingested 24hrs prior to boarding your aircraft. I would suggest if they are strait edge looking high dollar riggers (random drug testing) alchohol will be your only determining factor which can be controlled legally enough at altitudes of 9000-10000 ft., If they are your standard sleezbag / douchebag riggers that can't work for the same company for more than 1 month then they are probably on a good mix of stimulants cocaine / meth, no one has ever studied the effects of altitude on crackheads so nows your chance to be a test pilot you always wanted to work for NASA!
