While I don't know Mr. Sugar personally he was one of the very few that took time out of his busy schedule to answer some questions for me...he gets my vote. Aviation needs more people like him.

change in ranks

Post by buffy69 »

So there's been a bit of a change in the ranks over at Cargojet then? If George Sugar is now the VP/DFO of Flt Ops, what happened to the oh-so esteemed Richard "Dick" Wells, who was doing such a stellar job of "managing" that department? I dread to think where he ended up but YAY!!!! for Cargojet.

There may be hope yet. Only time will tell. I'm sure George Sugar will do his best, as will Dave Moore. Definitely exciting times ahead for Cargojet I'm sure.

Well I don't know where Richard went or position he's taken, but I always thought he was a good guy.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion :D , I wasn't commenting on whether he was a "good guy" or not, just his lack of managment and focus.

I have an opinion on whether or not he is a good guy but reserve the right to withhold it.

Oh and my suggestion for an addition to the list: Paul Baldasaro of Zoom, formerly Skyservice and Canada 3000 to name a few.

What about Ed Cordiner (first Air)

He is deffinetly a great guy, who is easy to talk to and should be included.

How 'bout Steve Anderson from Airco Charters in xd. He took that company through a TC fault free audit ( 703 and 704). He stood up for ethics and morals until management ran him off. He's now at Sunwest.

I would like to put Greg McMaster from Skyward on the list. He was excelent and always had the pilots back even when we didn't know it at the time.

Ronnie Haines Skylink Express...

It would be a shame should his efforts to create a better professional working environment go unnoticed.
