School for Class IV FI
Does anyone have any recommendations for a school that offers good quality Class IV training.
I previously studied and passed the FOI Exams and CFI-A Exams in the US but the school changed there minds about completing the CFI course after 2 students pulled out. I have extensive Instructional Experience elsewhere so I don't see too many problems with teaching, just learning the different procedures and regs. I'm looking for a school probably near the West Coast.
Finally are there any schools that are able to offer a Brit a Work Permit for a Career Instructor?
Thanks.
Phil

Hey man try professional flight centre their class ones are pretty good and they're looking.
Otherwise try sea land air, the cfi is a good guy and they have da40's etc. (he's a british)
If you want to make lots of money but possibly hate your boss try mont air.
they're all in boundary bay, vancouver

Hey, does anyone have an Email address for Professional Flight Centre. I tried proifr@proifr.com on Monday last week and as yet I've had no response from them. Are they typically slow at responding or are they just not interested in providing FI training at the moment?
cheers.
cheers.

Try the St. Thomas Flight Centre in Southwestern Ontario. I did all of my training there from private to multi-IFR and instructor and they hired me right after I finished my instructor rating. They have 2 class 1 instructors who can do the training, and will push you as fast as you want to go (you could be done in a few weeks if the weather allows it). The airport is great too, with little traffic besides the flight school aircraft, so there are no delays taxiing, waiting for clearances, etc that you will definately find at the bigger airports in Ontario. Try their website at www.learntofly.on.ca or give them a call at 1-519-637-8359 and ask for Sue (the CFI). PM me if you have any other questions.
