747-200 Simulator for Rent
Just wondering if anybody new a good place to rent a 747-200 sim. for a couple of hours, preferably in Canada as the States might be a little tricky if you don't want to do a complete course.
Thanks

sim
Problem with the one at Coastal Pacific is it's non motion and of suspect working order.
The guys running it there have no actual 747 experience.
If you're serious look elsewhere.
If you want something cheap and want to practice moving 4 thrust levers...this is your sim

You don't need motion or visual for the Cathay sim ride. The sim evaluator will set the aircraft up in a stable configuration (CofG). Flying it will be like flying a very heavy cessna. The most important part is memorizing the numbers, as the 747-200 is a numbers airplane.
Also, make sure that you are well versed in your climb segments, etc. And, a good understanding of the HKG EOSID may be helpfull. Otherwise, the Coastal Pacific sim will work fine for you.
PM me if you would like some additional 747-200 training information and tips to operating the airplane.
Cheers and good luck.
