Too bad for those just starting out, if this is true. Lot's of LR35 jobs out there though. Once again(second time this year), good luck to all involved.

This is true. As of today CGAA declared bankruptcy unfortunately. There were lots of changes recently since the startup, and they had gone through extensive TC audit, which they monitored them very closely, and did all the pilots checkrides etc.

I am one of those that just started, gave up a good stable job for what I thought would be an opportunity of a lifetime! I guess that's how it goes in this industry, which we all knew about when we signed up!

Goodluck to my fellow co-workers, and to all other pilots out there looking for work.

If anyone is looking for a Lear35 type rated pilot in toronto PM me, or any other great job in the area.

Thanks.

Is Skyservice looking for any LR35 pilots? Also Sunwest in CYYC has a couple LR35's. May be worth looking into. Good luck to all affected.

Have you checked Fox Flight?

Also, Porter just ran a print ad for Pilots. Might not be a bad gig if you want to stay in YYZ.

Helijet out of YVR also operates a few Lear 31A's (2 I think) that are on contract to BC Ambulance.

That Learjet carrot CGAA dangled in front of low time prop pilots has claimed many victims unfortunately.

Good luck.

I just hope the guy's involved at least get there final pay and expenses! I am sure most knew in advance what they were getting into, due to there operating record. Maybe JM should start a new venture.......other than Air Ambulance! It won't be too hard to find a LR35 spot: Fox Flight, Walmart, SSV in YYZ alone. Good luck

I wonder if the owner got some of that - what do you think he took over the years?

DaveG you are happy that a fellow pilot is out of work? I wouldn't wish unemployment on any pilot. Its one of the worst things you can go through. Good luck to those involved, I hope you all find employment shortly.

If this is true, that CGAA is done, then I have another item to add to my "Happiest Days Of My Aviation Career" list.

Thanks JM!
