FAA Study Material
So, I've looked around, and come up with nothing...
I have a "Restricted" FAA license, looking to write their airlaw to get it "Unrestricted". Also, Study material on FAA version of INRAT would be helpful as well. Thanks!

Re: FAA Study Material
better question... any idea where I can get hardcopies of aforementioned study materials?
Re: FAA Study Material
I have the ASA ATP 2008 and 2009 books if you are interested.
You can interpret that however you would like.
Re: FAA Study Material
I'm confused on the restricted FAA license. Is it because you don't have an IFR rating?
I've used Dauntless Software for the three test I've had to write (CDN conv, Instrument and FOI/CFI) I highly recommend them.
All the questions are the same, ASA, Gliems, Dauntless etc... Depending on the test they pull X amount of questions from a pool. All companies just regurgitate the questions in their respective format.
Dauntless
You can download the programs you need for about the same price as the book, and it's ready, instead of waiting to get the book in the mail, or having to head out to get it.

Re: FAA Study Material
All of the exam questions are on the FAA website. I believe that there are no more exams to write if you can get in person to a FSDO with your Canadian licenses - you have to apply online and give them (I think its 6) weeks. Everything you need is on the FAA website. An excellent site, by the way, with tons of useful, free stuff, not like that useless shite that TC has.

Re: FAA Study Material
The "restricted" FAA license is when you ask FAA "Can I please have a conversion?" and they say "oh... okay!" essentially, it's an American private license, if I went and wrote the airlaw portion, it would be unrestriced (FAA commercial) is my understanding.Nark wrote:I'm confused on the restricted FAA license. As for soft copy vs hard copy, it's easier to submit a receipt to the company for something I can actually say "here, this is what was bought"
