Nice, I have had my E for 10 years and I am working on my M now.

You have to join a mech crew and get your logbook signed off again I believe. Best part is it's only a rating so it is just $35 (or it was a few years ago).

Flight experience would help you understand maintenance, and it makes a better engineer. At least now you could afford your privates.
