100/105 Wet. Gee wonder what you fly. Wonder where you work. Hope the wings don't fall off that shit box.
How bout we forget about the lucky few at the ole WSG that actually make decent coin and focus on the poor 1900 FOs in YXL giving $10 handjobs on Front Street to pay the bills.
I'm sure you work for the "New Spirit in the Sky". Shouldn't you be getting worried about incompetent management sending you to the soup kitchen? Don't have aspirations of your kids going to university? Like rent controlled housing? Start getting worried man.
Geez, just what I need more 5000 hour pilots taking my airline job. The way that company is going there's going to be lots of them.

Like I said....fly 801, wear knee pads, make money. The FO that makes 70K.....geee, I wonder what TC would find about duty times on an audit? Any takers?
Wasaya is not a level playing field. Ya just have to suck up way too much. Politics is the name of the game......and this little red rooster just wouldn't kiss ass!
I wonder if the Hawkers are still always way over 43000# for landings? Could be why 100/105 slams them on?

Makes me wonder…a clapped out old 748 is worth how much if you were to put one into the bush verses a 1900. So the risks (financial) to the company are greater with the 1900 let alone the lives on board, but these pilots are the ones underpaid. And before you go into the old “size matters” debate, just think about the Concorde verses the 747 and who was paid more.
Just a thought.
Just a thought.

By the pissing and moaning going on I would guess you are either 20 yrs old or just plain stupid, who gives a shitaki mushroom how much you get paid for what you do as long as you are happy with it,and besides would you rather be landing 748(whitch has no reverse) or 1900 with all the gear except autopilot and has reverse on a 3500' ice strip. What A/C would you want more money to fly? Another thing, when we overnight in yxl or yqt we see the 1900 captains and FO's out having a beer with everyone else so it can't be all that bad in my books.
So because people go out for beer together you can tell how the moral is at a company?split s wrote:Another thing, when we overnight in yxl or yqt we see the 1900 captains and FO's out having a beer with everyone else so it can't be all that bad in my books.
That is the worse reasoning ever!

Ninjacrumb. It doesn't really matter where i work. I'm happy! I chose the job I have right now so I will live with whatever happens there. Everyone flying the 1900's chose to do it as well, so I think they should just keep quiet about their poor pay or go to one of the other companies mentioned in this thread. Like I said. I chose to take this job and when the gravy train stops rolling in I will simply choose another job. I was smart enough to train in a few different lines of work so yes I will send my children to university if "WSG" goes down the old KAM on her back!!
Don't think CMA or GGN's 1900s have autopilots either. Nor Skyward's.Doc wrote:Do the 1900's not have autopilots? You'd pretty much have to special order it like that, wouldn't you? If that's true, it would be a throw back to 1960's thinking....."We pay our co-pilots to be autopilots!" My, how quaint!
