Horrible news. My condolences to all involved.

This is a huge blow to Pasco. The Goose has done a great job for them in the past, it would be a real shame to see them go.

I know many pilots in my Career and I just gotTa say , LOVED THEM ALL MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY AND FRIEND OF WHOMEVER IS INVOLVED!

Felt sick reading this today. Deepest condolences to family, friends, the Smith family and all of you that fly on the coast. Just feel sick.

The Vancouver Sun reports:

"Spencer Smith, vice-president of Pacific Coastal, said it was too early to say what caused the crash. He said the pilot, who was 50 years old, was experienced, with more than 12,000 hours of flying time."

A very sad day indeed. Mere words fail to grasp the gravity of such a tragic end, to lives, dreams, and futures. One more of our "brothers" has left us. We are but visitors on this planet. Lets do everything we can to make that visit a long one.
