CADORS now top secret
Another example of Transport Canada over-policing the industry. CADORS was used as an informative way to educate people. It's hard to understand why they have decided to no longer share this safety information. What better a way to educate yourself about occurences that might affect the operation and safety of your company such as wx related control problems, mechanical malfunctions, CRM breakdown, etc. While the information may have been used maliciously by a few, I firmly believe it was used as a valuable tool to the majority. Doesn't TC want us to learn from others' experiences, encounters and mistakes - in order to prevent and eliminate recurrences?
Way to go TC - Arm us with less knowledge and then penalize us at the end of the day!

CADORs were in violation of the Federal Privacy Laws. So they changed the name and made them secret. Why is everyone so keen on telling on everyone else. TC as in enforcement is nailing everyone without reason why are we as an industry trying to help. Let them do there own dirty work we should be snitching on TC every time they break a limit or screw up a clearance.
