Green Hornet must have been turned down from a dock job there and that is why he is so bitter about this operation. Good people, good times from what I have heard, minus a little shit around the base, but you get that everywhere.

Try again Patrick ..... obviously you were never employed there so I guess you really have nothing to add. I was asking because I know several dock guy / pilots that got screwed there so I was curious to hear from people who WORKED there ..... not your theories.
If you worked there great if not ... well don't worry about it I am just interested in facts ..... not theory but thanks anyway...

My friend who was a pilot there said kind of the same thing ... maintainence was iffy at best. I know they have a lot of junk out back of the hangar they use for parts. I also was told that the cook who worked at one of thier camps got screwed for wages.
Re: Has anyone worked for Kenora Air Service?
Everybody gets screwed for wages for KAS, but who cares people have been put on a beaver first year with under 300tt. The cook however should be paid he could cook some awesome food. And I herd there is no more FUNNEL, its been turned into a real toilet!!! KAS is moving up in the world MJ wont have to leave the place now!

They made the door bigger so I hear she can get out once in awhile. She hasn't been to Lount Lake for several years because she cannot get up the steps into the Otter, I am sure the Otter would get her off the watter .... she just can't get up the stairs.
I have heard from some other dock guys that only if someone quits ( which usally happens ) do they get on an a/c in the summer they start. There was some guy named "Mooky" there this summer Benny was dicking around so that is why I am asking.

Hey Green Hornet I can't afford to keep the trailer I'm living in and buy booze so I'm selling it and going back to sleeping in my car.
You want to buy the trailer?

Please Green Hornet, please enlighten us all as to how one of the best, most agreeable and experienced guys working for KAS screwed your newbie friend over?

Hornet: why don't you tell us about your time in sk, flying one of kenora air's beavers. Don't forget to metion why you quit too!
Re: Has anyone worked for Kenora Air Service?
Well if you bothered to read my above posts you'd have realized I did work there and I do know Benny along with everyone else. Again you failed to enlighten us with an example of him 'dicking people around' which makes your accusations all the more incredible.
Did you by chance work at Showalters (briefly)? And was that you flying NOT?

revaeb who he is is really unimportant and I very much doubt that he will have a large group here supporting his style.
But he does bring a new meaning to the word pathetic.

Re: Has anyone worked for Kenora Air Service?
Well, Shadow/Green Hornet: I've been listening quite patiently to all the the things you been "told" about Kenora Air. Now its your turn to listen to a couple of things I've been told...The Shadow wrote:My friend who was a pilot there said kind of the same thing ... maintainence was iffy at best. I know they have a lot of junk out back of the hangar they use for parts. I also was told that the cook who worked at one of thier camps got screwed for wages.
I was told that Kenora Air did make one colossal mistake last year. They hired this big mouth braggart to fly out of Misaw Lake without checking his references. He got up there and couldn't cut it, had to bail out before the end of the contract. He was more than capably replaced by a 500 TT kid (you know, one of those kids that GH was railing about on another forum). I'd be willing to bet that if the owner of Misaw Lake Lodge had to choose between the big mouth "supposedly" high time pilot and the 500 TT kid, he'd pick the kid hands down.
Now why don't you jump on your fancy bike that you like to brag about and slink off to your hole in Arizona or Timmins or wherever you go when it snows? It's quite obvious to everyone here what your motive is. And take your imaginary friends with you.

Re: Has anyone worked for Kenora Air Service?
Well I certainly would not go to Timmins when it snows I hear it gets just as cold there as it does in Winnipeg.
Arizona here I come shortly.
I have no idea about the bike thing nor do I know where the hell you think I work but, carry on.
One thing about you couple of flunkies here you are predicatble.
