Think that they shut down the Navajo side of things, but may still have the floatplanes.. I know that we hired one of their 'ho pilots in YTH..
Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

It's true, the float planes will still be flying for the lodge on a seasonal basis. The Navajo operation is no more.
It's pretty sad if you ask me, they ran a great show, treated their employees really well, and were very well liked by their customers. It was a tough decision and I think it was based on lots of things. One thing being some bad luck with their bush hawk, and the other big thing was new maintenance paperwork requirements that are coming into force in the near future. I think it was just getting to the point where it wasn't really worth all the work any more.
I will always have some fond memories of my time there and I wish everyone who worked with them the best of luck!

Flying airplanes is easy, you just need to PAY ATTENTION. Finding a good job on the other hand takes experience, practice, and some serious talent.
