Accommodations at Harv's Air

Post by indieadventurer »

Has anyone stayed in the accommodations at Harv's Air (St. Andrew or Steinbach)? Are they in good condition (beds, rooms in general)? I'm looking to go out there to do my CPL in the coming months.

Bring WARM clothes, especially coming from tropical India!!

Manitoba in the winter is UNBELIEVABLY cold. You're used
tp +30C. How does -30C sound?

You're going to need serious boots, warm mitts/gloves,
an enormously thick jacket, etc.

hah no no, I'm from London Ontario - the weather is pretty bad here this time of year and I want to go out to the Prairies to do my CPL quickly.

We just brought in a pool table today! (St. Andrews)

The rooms are nice. You can have one to yourself. Everything's clean. There's space to cook and relax. If you have any other questions about Harv's you can PM me.

Steinbach south is okay. Trailers are nice, tv, no cable, lots of movies, wireless internet. Its all waht you make of it. Right now we have a crew here and we get together every night just to do something different. The office has a new pool toable, foosball as well as table tennis. If not just going for walks around the area kills time, and not to forget about the Edge!

Harv's also I believe has a few houses in Steinbach that student's can stay at. Shared accomidation of course. If you don't have wheels there is a morning pick up with lunch and evening drop offs in a company car. I think there is a nominal fee to get picked up and dropped off but the option is there.
