Syphilis can generally be treated with antibiotics, including penicillin. One of the oldest and still the most effective method is an intramuscular injection of benzathine penicillin. If left untreated, syphilis can damage the heart, aorta, brain, eyes, and bones. In some cases these effects can be fatal.

Oh I get it, your implying that I have Syphilis. Geeee you are so funny. Maybe one day when you grow up you could be a comedian. But for now go run along and play in your sandbox. Us adults have more important things to talk about.

You're being (understandably) coy about your
problem, but that makes it a bit hard to guess
what it might be.

It's possible you might find the answer in TP13312:

http://www.tc.gc.ca/CivilAviation/Cam/T ... reword.htm

Note that the above is just a guideline for RAMO's - they
are free to act quite differently than is spelled out in
TP13312, and often do. The RAMO in one region may
very well give you an different answer than in another
region.

Servisair, what did you expect from the denizens on this site? Take a pill. Oh wait, maybe something about pills is what you were asking?

Just phone yer Doc. If its bad, you can't fly anyway, unless you are planning a fraud?

At least, while playing in my sandbox, I have developed a sense of humour. You might try it.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Take it easy...take it easy . You were supposed to post a witty come-back, a double entendre ( or is that in tennis ? ) that implies the ineptness ( preferably sexual ) of your opponent.

I can sympathize with the circumstance that may have led you to start this thread-I too prefer to get all of my medical advice on internet forums- you don't have to wait in a crowded room reading sticky magazines ,and it's far more reliable and authoritative.

Could you maybe post a picture of your tongue?

And maybe a lock of your wifes hair, that would help speed the diagnosis along. We want to help-but we don't have much to work with so far. I do have a pH.d.

Okay...in my case it stands for ' Plumber, Heavy Duty'...but still......

You don't have any chickens, do you?
If you do-keep them all outside of the house-you wouldn't believe what happened to my uncle.

I thinks it's obvious this poor fellow has lost his sense of humour. He will most definitely need the help of a trained medical practitioner (shrink) in getting it back. How long could someone last in aviation without one? ... one maybe two weeks at the most.
Loss of a sense of humour is no laughing matter.

The reason that half of all Canadians don't have a family doctor is because we can get all our medical stuff done on the internet. Here, just pee on the 'shift' key and we'll analyse your sample in moments - faster if its not a portable and its plugged into the mains.

Seriously though, Servisair, why not post your question on a medical website or just call a doctor. Maybe even search the web enough and you'll find your answer. Chances are someone has head your question already... don't your problem is though so can't say for sure.

And spinjob... damn, can syphilis really be that bad  . K, I gotta run out to the doc... catch you all later.

On the up side of things, that burning sensation when you pee will force you to drink less beer. Thus enabling you to get through all those pesky "Ride" checks on the way home from the free clinic...
