As far as I know, the Navajo is based in Kitchener. BGG is right where you left it and the Sim is still there too. Also my 12' Aluminum boat is there atop the wood shed in the cold-side.

There are hundreds of gallons of my sweat and blood on the ramp. I wonder what that's worth???

Sweat equity is not recognised by the tyrants of industry.

To us haz, it was worth a million dollars, or at least enough to spend thousands of dollars there. Enough to drive an hour to get a multi followed by a multi IFR, when one could be obtained anywhere, but one found the friendly atmosphere at Peninsulair more appealing than other schools.

Unfortunately, in reality its worth the same as any other person in the history of aviation industry employees who got it handed to them in an unjust way. You're part of a ever-growing fraternity of employment casualties. You'll get your bumper sticker, mug, and coupon book in a few short weeks.

Welcome aboard.

I can try and salvage some of it off the ramp.
For some strange but obvious reason, Penairs ramp is plowed all the time now.
I don't think that van will ever move again.

If I had a spare $13,000 I would definitely buy TGX.

Talk to someone that is headed that way everyday and maybe they can carpool you.

Make a post in the Penair forums.

Principles are expensive that only the rich can afford.

In order to fight the good fight, you need warriors...in this case, Piper Warriors.

PS: I tried calling you a couple of weeks ago...no pick up but I did leave a voice mail.

Hope all is well.

Oh well...I feel sorry for all those little birds sitting out in the snow in Brantford, guess their sale was inevidable. Hard time too, since plane prices seem a bit deflated...maybe someone will buy up the whole fleet now that prices have been set.

On another note, an airport insider informed me that it's not that far fetched for CYHM to go back to the Class E airspace where it came from...guess YYZ is more than capable of giving the orders for the courier flights...now I wonder if that will actually improve the bottom line for Tradeport....and it would be a good excuse for them to stall with terminal expansion...and certainly help mask their lack of commitment to the community...just a thought.

I've heard that MS is running Pipeline outta Brantford and TJF is on, "HIGH DISPATCH ALERT", for any potential charters.

Are you kidding me? Only long enough to get files out. I'm afraid if that was my business they better have the police there to drag me out! Sounds like a bunch of corporate money hungry assholes are running the show down there. The next place they would need the cops to drag me out of would be City Council's Chambers!! They're the one's who set these dogs loose.

This really sucks, sorry to hear the bad news all. I actually live in Hamilton and had wanted to visit this summer for a fam flight.

What's the deal with Hamilton airport anyway? That place has so much potential, but they don't seem to be doing much with it.
