Wanabe:

Nait (Edmonton) has an excellent program, in airframe, as well as avionics, no AME program.

The other school besides SAIT (Calgary) is Northern Lights in Dawson Creek.

From what I've read on these forums the Northern Lights in Dawson Creek is an excellent school.

I've also worked with several graduates and they had good words about the place.

Probably beats living in Calgary or Vancouver.

Also heard good things about Steveston in Manitoba, check them out.

I'd rather be living in Vancouver however the reputation here is a few steps above that of BCIT with a fraction of the waitlist to get in. not to mentioned tuition is pretty cheap. living here certainly makes you appreciate where you were before, assuming that was somewhere nice (victoria). for a year and a half it's worth it.
