a call to arms (or email anyways...)

Post by youngtimer »

If you've ever had to wait more than an acceptable amount of time at the YYC pass office, (or other pass office for that matter) please go here http://www.calgaryairport.com/feedback/dsp_feedback.cfm, and fill out the comments section with detailed complaints and constructive solutions. I don't know if it'll do anything but I'm getting sick of 4 hour waits while the computer shows serving #1. I know this has been a common topic here but please take the time to drop them a note. By the way, I feel 30 minutes is the most anyone should have to wait, and that would be pushing it in any accountable office setting. My suggestions to them were the obvious expansion of their facilities and the even more simple hiring of adequate number of staff members, which they clearly don't have. Those kiosks should have a butt in each seat every minute that the office is open. I'd say they average about 50% capacity these days.

That's my battle for today, until I try again tomorrow...

I feel your pain. I once spent 8 hrs at the YYZ pass office. It was absoutely horrible. They at least have the appointment system in YYZ now so its a little better.

If I start with the YYC office I won't know where to end. The place is the ultimate gong show, #2 only to the passport office downtown Saskatoon. Where do they find these wastes of biological mass?

0800 this morning, 5 hour waiting line and not a single pass employee in the office, save for the receptionist, who starts at 0700, which seems pointless, as she could process more people in 5 minutes than the rest of the office can do in hours.
Again, please send them a message...
