x-wind....that's a lovely story and you can feel free to start your own thred and talk all about it. but where in the topic "Ornge Offer" does it mention anything about training bonds? getting my point? we're all a little tired of every thread being hijacked and turned into an argument about bonds....
not to mention, i've had two interviews with ornge and not a single word has been uttered about a bond....if they call and offer me a job and there is one, i'll make my own decision as will all of the other guys/girls being interviewed.
peace.

In August of 2008 you posted this about Val, did you get the job?

It is a standard panel interview. Straight forward questions. Some IFR not much, more about you and your career to date. They make you feel very comfortable. overall a great experience.
They seem to be very professional. If you believe everything you read you are naive
The most difficult thing about flying is knowing when to say no.
After over a half a century of flying I can not remember even one trip that I refused to do that resulted in someone getting killed because of my decision not to fly.

We all have strong opinions on bonds, training, single engine ifr etc. But until the terms and conditions of employment with Ornge are released, and we know whether or not there is a bond, maybe delete everything after the original post up to and including this one? Have some mercy and bring this long disastrous skid to a halt.
And maybe keep C206's last post that injected some fact to this thread...two interviews and no mention of a bond.

MG_....if you go back over our posts, you won't find any reference to the fact there is a bond or not. I simply asked how much it was. Never stated there was indeed a bond. There may well not be.MG_ wrote:. . wrote: did you get the job?
Who gives a shit if he got the job? You're going to hang everyone who has given a thought to working with a company you don't personally like? Get real.
Nowhere did either ., Cat, or myself ever state we didn't like the company.

C206Pilot,
Any tips for us on what interview questions they asked? Were you on your own for travel expenses for both interviews?

x-wind, more people should be man enough to admit when they've realized someone may have a point. anywayz, it's neither here nor there, we're cool bro.
doc driver, if you want some specific info, feel free to pm me. i post certain things for everyone to read, but i personally don't feel comfortable posting specific info about interviews and things like that....especially considering the vast majority of people reading it will never have an interview at that specific company.
as far as the bond, as soon as i find out if they have one or not and the details, i'll post...unless someone else does/wants to first. so we can leave it at that.
so, back to the original question.....has anyone gotten the word yet?

Are there really two interviews and a medical? To fly a PC12? WTF is with that? Is there a bond? Don't have any idea why that last question pisses so many people off???

Finally after three pages it took Conway to describe what all these pilots are waiting to get.
