I have been flying C-150s for a while.... I have yet to see one with the no spin warning.

I am rebuilding a C-150 and am now at trying to catch up with all airworthiness directives. This AD for prohibiting spins has me confused....
Any clues as to why the various flying club aircraft don't have the spin prohibitions?

Re: intentional spins prohibited
This AD only applies to those planes that have been modified with this specific STC.87-21-05 CESSNA: Amendment 39-5745. Applies to the following models and serial numbered airplanes certificated in any category which have been modified in accordance with Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) SA 4795SW:
So unless you have an O-320 or O-360 hanging off the front you are good to go!

One, Harry Dickler is a great guy, got smarts and time in. If you phone him he will tell you why there is a limitation for this STC. Be prepared to talk but be prepared to listen even more. His kits are first rate as is his support, a rare attribute in todays aviation.
Two I have a Horton kit on my plane and that also has a limitation no spins allowed.
