Where in the world(Canada included) are the best float jobs?
I came across a thread in here talking about a very appealing float operation in Greece that recently went under. I liked the sound of 90k tax free, living expenses paid, and beautiful scenery, not to mention flying a sweet airplane (Twin Otter was it?).
Anyways, had me wondering, what and where are the cushiest and most enjoyable float operators world wide where Canadians can fly?

Maldivian Air Taxi with Kenn Borek. TMA is alright....never worked for them. The flying and the resorts are amazing (except MEP, MAA). Life is great and the diving is better, especially at KUR where its $2USD per dive! That or NWO out of Kenora....totally different flying though.

Destination Air in Phuket... it went under, but if something else opens up there, it's got my vote for best float op to work for. There's one in Singapore as well... Caravans I believe, but Sing is too expensive.
I can't think of a better place to be than Thailand and area... cheap living, hot sandy beaches and you have to beat the women away with a stick.
... some men too though.
Don't forget about Fiji and NZ... very nice.

Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do.

From my experience, I still look back to 1977 when I was fortunate to get a job as a dock hand/co-pilot with La ronge Aviation in Yellowknife (YZF).All these years later, that past experience learning to fly floats and wheels/skis in very demanding conditions and situations has made me believe there is NO better place to start and possibly continue a career in float flying than Yellowknife NT Canada.32 years later,I am still amazed at how blessed I have been to have had that opportunity....
