Any company that will hire Chief has got to be good....... well patient anyway! Seriously though they sound like a great company that treats the guys/girls well.

LMAO, thanks Garrett. I hope you have restless nights. Gimme a call anyway. Looking at your avatar it looks like you are about to! lol

Wondering:
NCA is a good company to work for. The planes are in top condition, upgrades are at a reasonable level, and we are treated well.

They're even a good company to sub-charter for. Everyone I've met here so far are very friendly.

How do they get those planes so clean?

Well you better go work for a great company like Air Canada then, cause I bet they don't make their pilots wash the planes and therefore MUST be a decent company!!!

When no one says anything negative their busy keeping their head down. Yes pilots wash a/c. Upgrade to captain has serious restrictions due to contrail requirments.Sit right seat forever with little opportunity for pic. Oh ya, Chief is a pretty good guy. Just call him masks. Even the prettiest rose has thorns.

Guys with 15000 + on the coast.. "wash" their aircraft everyday.. you gotta be kidding me that this is the worst thing you can come up with in regards to North Cariboo ir ANY operator? ummmm ok.. and washing a plane is wrong why? And some of you guys wonder why your unemployed.

Fly safe

wondering.. they are a great little company , you`d do well to get on there.

I think Phatboy might have been joking.....

You don't sit right seat forever if you have the PIC time before you start with NCA. Some of the current F/O started with 250 hrs and are stuck in the right seat, but I think the lifestyle in yyc is worth it to some.

don't look for any hidden message here guys with regards to washing your own aircraft. If I walked into a hospital and I saw the doctors washing the floor, i would think the same thing, its a crappy hospital. If I was seeking legal advice and my lawyer was outside shovelling the snow in front of the office, I would think the same thing, this is a crappy law office.

I certainly don't think I'm above it, its just I wouldn't settle for it. But hey, thats what makes the world go round, some guys settle for less than they should...cause thats what they think theyr'e worth.

just not me :D

I guess we all think differently, me I dont mind washing my airplane if I have nothing else to do.

For me it is a matter of pride in what I fly, but I guess the bottom line is I probably just don't have the right stuff as a pilot to feel I'm above doing some manual work to keep busy.

Maybe I just need an attitude adjustment to make me a "REAL " pilot?

Paramedics wash the ambulances, do you question their level of professionalism?

Surgeons wash their hands, do you question their level of professionalism??

Seriously though Phat, you may want to apply for a direct entry Captains slot with JAL...I believe their uniform entails the wearing of white gloves.
