Super 'connie' flight from New York to Miami
I really like this one! Almost like the itvv series for the non-pilot but nice and old school! Has anyone on this forum flown one of these beautiful aircraft?

Nice video. Oh man, what I'd give to fly one of those planes.
I cant believe he has his own DC-3. Talk about leaving the dream!

An acquaintance flies left seat on this airplane. It's the Breitling Super Connie based in Switzerland.

haha that's exactly what I thought when he casually says "besides my Navion I have a DC-3... that's my airforce" wow what a life indeed!yzfer wrote:Nice video. Oh man, what I'd give to fly one of those planes.

Thanks those are great! Left seat... nice! That has to be the best job ever! I bet he has some interesting stories to complement his experience! I tried looking around to see roughly how many Constellation's are still airworthy and it's hard to tell since there are some restored c-121 Warning Star's out there too. Anyone have an idea how many? It looks like there might be 5, could that be all? KLM, Lufthansa and Breitling is all I could really find, maybe a couple c-121's.bmc wrote:An acquaintance flies left seat on this airplane. It's the Breitling Super Connie based in Switzerland.

Will the TCA superconnie ever be restored to flying condition? Maybe the cost would be prohibitive especially with the economy but it sure would be nice to see it fly someday!
