Being born beautiful outside is beyond our control.
Being ugly inside, is something we can control.

If anyone here wants to debate that women are just as attracted to beautiful men before seemingly sweet thoughtful men, but not as attractive...So, for fun, I conducted an experiment last year and I held bets with my some of my single "friend-girls".

I placed an ad on one of those dumb cyber-dating sites. I made 2 seperate profiles. I used the same description of in the two profiles of what I thought would be an ideal mate. It was clever, funny and outgoing. Then I used two very different pictures on both ends of the scale what my friend-girls considered to be very attractive and NOT so attractive.

Guess what guy got countless hits of interest?

Guess what guy got ZERO hits of interest?

Here's the kicker...the attractive guys PM box got countless messages virtually saying the same thing.

"I really enjoyed reading your profile description" Yet the other unattractive guy in my 2nd profile had the same profile description.

The women pictured in my first post don't "really exist" in the real world anyway.

Let me put it to you in another way....They are a freak of nature.

In other words....THEY ARE FREAKS

Sounds like Shiela may be jealous of these "attractive" girls... most women are. These "most women" would rather run the "attractive" girls into the ground, as well as the men who drool over them. Meanwhile, women are exactly the same... in fact, sometimes worse. What I mean is at least a man will admit to the reasons he is dating a girl.

Also, you don't see many "handsome" men with chiseled chests and six pack abs without girlfriends/wives/regular dates... they can even be assholes or as dumb as a post. Also, you don't hear men referred to as gold-diggers like women are.

Really, I find women (not all) to be far more shallow than men are when it comes to picking a mate.

And this all reminds of a really pretty girl I once really, really liked. We liked all the same things... movies, sports, dogs, outdoors (the list went on and on). We knew each other pretty well and had fun together as friends. She knew I wanted more, but chose to date the "hot" guys only... They treated her like shit. I eventually moved away and I'm not sure what she's up to, but most likely still in abusive relationships with shallow men.

Geez, that kind went all over the place but I think you all know where I'm going with this. Women are never the victim and can do no wrong and that just pisses me off... And just so you know, my two serious relationships have been with "average" looking women... wonderful girls.

Ugggh... whatever I guess... end rant.

Thanks for the tip fortis... but maybe inquire as to why I feel the way I do before making a stupid, thoughtless comment like the one above.

You know I really should apologize for the harshness of my comment. I only meant to suggest that your tone and demeanor on the thread with regard to women seems angry and bitter. Not that you are as a person. I'm sorry.

Apology accepted... it was the word "creepy" that made offended me and I really should have been more clear in my post.

Anyway, it's the double standards amongst men and women that piss me off. If a guy dates a woman for looks, he's a pig... if a woman does the same, she scored herself a hottie. When men go to the strip joint, it's because they're disgusting, when women go, well, girls just wanna have fun. Over and over again, this is the trend.

And BTW, I don't resent women and am not "angry" at them. I've simply chosen to go about relationships in a different way due to my past experiences.

Ugh... I was actually thinking about the Seinfeld episode where Jerry says that... he was thinking, damn, if I was gay... no more of these "problems" with relationships. Then he goes on to say how having twice the wardrobe would be a major perk of being in a gay relationship.

And I would neeeever yell out homophopic profanities... not my style. I don't use words like "faggot" or "dyke"... I think it's demeaning and rude. I have close friends and family members who are gay. I support them 110%. It's your life... do with it as you wish.
