NBC -- A baggage handler accidentally hitched a ride from New York to Boston, after falling asleep in the belly of a plane.

Airport officials say the Jet Blue baggage handler was in the belly of the plane Saturday, loading luggage at JFK International Airport in New York.

That's when authorities say he apparently fell asleep, and woke up at Logan International Airport in Boston.

The baggage handler claims he was taking a break, when the doors closed on him.

Authorities say the baggage handler won't face any criminal charges.

After he was questioned, he was put back on a plane to New York.

I'm sure he was awake long before he got to Boston. Stupid headlines.

Looks like we need tighter restriction regarding airport security.

I'll bet that guy had more leg room and better food than the passengers in the cabin!

No doubt! I'd pay extra if they would let me ride down with all the baggage. Those bags can get pretty comfy.

 Oh man, I remember those days, working the ramp for AC... no better bed than a bag-bed. Once, I fell asleep in a baggage cart down in the YVR 'tunnel' and woke up half way out to the apron.
