Looks to me like the FMSs have no screens - they must display directly on the EICAS screens? Make your eyes move a lot, unless you can touch-type!

Looks like the Multi Function Keypad (lear's terminology, not mine) has a one line screen....i bet that is the scratch pad, so that you can see whatever you're typing....once complete, you move it to the spot you want on one of the Multi Function Windows, one of which I bet is the display for the stuff (FMC stuff, mainly) controlled by the MFK.

Looks like 4 Multi Function Windows in the centre AFD....lots of flexibility to put what you want where you want.

In the bottom left corner of the picture there is what appears to be a portable electronic flight bag. seems a little redundant to me doesn't it?

It's not portable, it's a backup....it's a standalone EFB that is required if you want to operate paperless. The main EFB displays on an MFD and has a totally separate File Server Unit than the backup. I suspect it is also a touch screen control for environmental, as well as the cabin entertainment system.

Oh, there will be lots of buttons, just not physical ones....it'll all be menus.....so many more things you can play with in cruise with the menus....you could spend an hour just configuring your MFD if you're that bored!

Because you are gonna need someone to hit the reboot button while you try to fly this beauty with no standby instruments (at least not in the picture).

Loading, please wait...

Split those screen up into smaller (individual), less color intensive ones.
