Maintenance Jobs in Kelowna
Hello All,
I'm a licensed M1/M2 AME and I'm thinking about relocating to Kelowna. I already know about KFC there but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is anywhere else. I've got 703/704 turboprop type experience.
Thanks very much,
Cheers,
SH

Well there is Carson Air as well. Not knowing but I would think KFC would be your best bet.

I started out at Flightcraft and it is (or was ten years ago anyways) a great place to get your hands dirty doing all kinds of different jobs and getting your logbook filled out. Not as much red-tape as places like Air Canada or Cascade.
The down side is you are working on ancient planes and equipment (I used to call it Canada's largest living aviation museum) and the middle management is a pain in the ass to deal with.
I wouldn't give Carson Air the time of day.

No so much any more as the hangar is usually filled with 757's and a couple 737NG's. Hardly any heavy work on Convairs these days. And on the line maintenance side it's mainly work on Flair's 737-400's.
But middle mangement is pretty much the same, a little better though as its all new faces in those positions.
