Yeah.. your absolutely right.
With Florida's loss tonight, I think the statistical probabilities are on our side to make it. I personally do not think we will beat Boston. Pitsburgh... is a toss up. Maybe they will already be solidifed in there position by then and wont bother playing Crosby or Malkin.
Now... if we get into the playoffs... it really doesnt look bad. I think we'll lose all 4. That being said... if Schneider's "second" opinion in NY tomorrow turns out to him being able to play with a shot of chorzone... , and Markovs 3 week disabled status can turn into say 10 - 12 days..... than crazier things have happened.
You never know, we still just might finish in 7th.
Points on tonights game, Carey was rusty as I thought he would be comming back from the flue. That being said, he played much better in the 3rd period and maybe he'll be back in full form by the playoffs.
I just hope the Canadians make the playoffs... for the sake of Gainey keeping his job. Cause if he can't turn this circus around.. than I really doubt anyone could. It has been afterall... a never ending circus for the last 10 years since we moved out of the Forum.

Schneider's back baby...

And they made it... sitting in eighth place right now, but at least their in.

Yes they are in...
We will see what happens. Price just doesn't have the mental fortitude to steal some games for us though. I wouldnt be surprised if they play Halek game 2 or 3 in Boston.
Markov.... crossing my fingers for him to come back early.

I think he might depending on the situation. If Montreal is winning the series, they'll let him rest... but if they're down after 4,5 or 6 games then maybe he'll take the numbing needle and get in the game.synthpro wrote:Markov.... crossing my fingers for him to come back early.
