Re: Multi training
Didn't you advertise you're a class 3 instructor in Calgary?

Re: Multi training
What does that have to do with his multi engine rating ? You can be a class 3 with no multi engine rating. Unless that's not what you were pointing your finger at.I Я Instructor wrote:Didn't you advertise you're a class 3 instructor in Calgary?
I think Springbank have got the better schools in the Calgary area? I am not familiar, but I think I heard good things about Springbank ...

Re: Multi training
There are only 3 schools in the Calgary area that have a twin
Morgan CYYC
Springbank Air Training College CYBW
and Fly Right CYBW
MRC has two but I'm not sure they are still letting non-students train on them

Re: Multi training
Here's an article I wrote about multi-engine
flying/training, a couple years back:

It's probably worth what you paid me for it

Re: Multi training
The statement wasn't about lack of ratings but rather lack of knowledge of the area...

Re: Multi training
From what I know shamrock just moved to the Calgary area. He was just looking for some advice and I doubt it has anything to do with his knowledge.
Last I checked with him he's a pretty smart guy !

Thanks for the recommendations guys and girls. Found a suitable school with reasonable rates a couple of hrs North of Calgary.

I did my multi out at FlyRight. Their Seminole is in immaculate shape, and the GNS430W is now fully certified for full WAAS approaches. It has a Sandel EHSI too that's the cat's ass.

Re: Multi training
Where did you go? Looking for a place as well, the multi trainers in YBW seem pretty booked up, looking to get my Multi IFR ride done.shamrock104 wrote:Thanks for the recommendations guys and girls. Found a suitable school with reasonable rates a couple of hrs North of Calgary.
