Anyone heard back? I was there in early April and was told hiring in July; just wondering if anyone else has any news. They did say if I didn't hear anything soon it was a good thing.

I think what they were getting at was that if you did hear right away it would only be for a pfo.

I've never been in an airline environment.

How much time (Porter) overnight between flights? Worst case scenario? Seems like it is a bit short, (from a quick glance at the schedule) but then you don't have to flight plan, etc.etc.

I've applied to Porter it's been 2 months with no call hmm... It's not about the required experience or pic hours that I have. Just wondering lately if anyone has received an interview call, if so, how long has it been since you've applied until receiving the call. Is Porter interviewing at this time? Helpful Porter info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was told; course in July, August and 2 courses in the fall. The also apologized because it is 2 weeks to 2 months before they get back. If you haven't heard, I would just go to the bedroom, get a pillow, sink your teeth into it and scream. No one will hear you and you'll feel better.

I suspect that they are very busy checking references on a lot of folks.

It was a zoo when I was there in April. Many people doing many interviews - the interviewers looked tired also from all the work they were doing.

I was told anywhere from 1-3 months. Has anyone had there references checked?
I think they may outsource the references to another company.

Interviewed May 14, formal offer June 1.
Looks like groundschool in july although the details will be sent at a later date.
Anybody else heard anything yet?
I wa surprised the offer came as quick as it did since they told me to be patient as it may take 1 to 3 months to hear.
Anyhow, really excited about working for this great company!

I heard they call references after they offer you the job....
It has been over 2 months now......... waiting waiting...
