Eastguy,
It all depends how high or low your standards are, how big or small, how close to pearson etc... I hold a real estate licence and I can help. Check you PM for contact info.

Try the Jane/Finch area. (just kidding)
Seriously, try the Square One area in Mississauga. Im not sure about the prices but Im sure they are lower now than last year. Port Credit down on the lake is really nice but a lot more expensive.

The “MLS” server is down. So, I am unable to provide a link.
You want, South Etobicoke. East of the 427, South of Burnamthorp, West of Jane St.
Downtown Toronto is good too. Look at Buckinshire. Good access to the QEW.

How close to YYZ do you want to live?
Nothing in Toronto and area is cheap. If it is, there is a reason (bloods/crips).
If 45 minutes isn't too far away, I'd look at Kitchener, as you could buy a house for that money.

It depends what your wants and needs are. A good place to some is hell to others. Put your want list together, decide what your absolute needs are and talk to a realtor. Someone above offered their service, maybe he/she will be a good start.

Terminal 4 baby. Barrie.
50 minutes to the parking garage. You can get a great waterfront condo for that kind of money here.
