I'm gonna go with yes on that one. Take a look back through some of OFD and Cat's previous banter in other threads and you might find yourself with a better handle on what's going on in this one.

Rockie:

I'm afraid that not only did your fail to come up to operating temp, you never got a light off on this thread.

Oh, and yes, I do indeed have firearms, and at one time was an excellent shot ... on every rifle, SMG and pistol team I ever applied for, and although well past my prime, I remain the scourge of the Richardson Ground squirrel.

Although this is not my video, it gets the message across ..... I think of them as Commie's, living in collectives, and I'm in a sniper det, tasked with taking out targets of opportunity with emphasis on anyone showing leadership. Any sighting of a gopher generates an immediately valid fire order with virtually no ROEs except causing damage to anything in the backstop area.

Fogducker that is impressive.

You could really get in tight with Rockie if you could shoot that chip off my shoulder.

Think you are up to that task?

Hi Rocky, I probably shouldn't butt in here but your stand on guns from another thread is so well known that they thought they would have a little fun at your expense. Tongue planted firmly in cheek of course. Everything I've read on this thread is to be taken in jest and humour; somewhat at your expense and somewhat at each other.
You should reread the posts and then have a good laugh Rocky. I did.

I acknowledge the jest and humour, and I really had no idea that's what it was at first. Nothing in fogducker's post indicated that to me but it's not like I get all the jokes anyway. I don't mind the gun jokes either. But I disagree that my opinion on guns is well known. Gun advocates are for the most part incapable of actually debating the issue without turning it into a left wing communist hating, pacifist bashing orgy of self indulgent dick measuring. So when would they have the time to listen to another point of view? :smt067

yfly...come on! You know Cat's always been to cool for school.

****EDIT*****
I stand corrected. Apparently he has a standing reservation at 'John School'. I guess he got tagged for picking up a Asian TGurl then making wear a suit with the nametag "Merlin" while he sat in the corner and alternated between calling her names and crying. When the cops took him in he made his one phone call to the local Hell's Angles club because he needed to get in touch with his moral centre.

I know I shouldn't do this because it is recognizing your never ending diatribe as you find even more infantile ways to get jabs in at me mcrit...

...but really it is time you got over my comments that I wouldn't let you instruct on any aircraft I own because of your methods of engine handling...hell that must have been two years ago

..let it go mcrit not everyone was cut out to be a pilot much less a flight instructor.

Kettle to pot; black; over

., you know what happened between you and TC? An asshole and a bully finally met his match when he pissed off an even bigger asshole and bully with authority. All I can say about your saga is; sometimes bad things happen to assholes. Either way, I'm glad you're out of flight training in Canada. Like I said before, you've nothing to teach that others, (much less crazy than you), don't.

I hope the moderators do not pull those comments mcrit because you have just shown not only do you have no idea of what my issues with TCCA were about you have shown the most amazing personal attack on another member of the forum that demonstrates far more about your character than mine.

By the way I can do flight training in Canada any time I choose, in fact I plan on doing some this summer.

Oh, and I had a Canadian Flight Instructors rating probably before you were born.

OK, watch your p's and q's please guys.

Just so ya know mccrit, I've seen Chucks files. He didn't start it. Sometimes, being an asshole back to the bullies is the only way to win the fight. He did win, they just pretend he did not.

Will the real asshole please stand up?

Fine by me. I've spoken with people (other than .) about .. The terms 'crazy' and 'asshole' were some of the milder descriptions I got of him. Mind you, he is getting better. I haven't seen him go off the rails on here in quite a while.

Well, do try and teach them the connection between power changes and yaw, that way no one will have to clean up your mess later.

Anyways ., I'm out. I'll give you the last word in this thread if you want it. Only seems appropriate given the title.

mccrit.. What started out as "all in good fun" has turned into the worst personal attack ive ever read on this forum!! What the hell happened to common respect for a man thats given over 50 years of his life to this industry? For all his efforts hes called "crazy" and a few other choice words. Cat may be jaded because he has been steamrolled by the very people he used to believe in to police our industry.. but to call him crazy? Give your head a shake mccrit!!

Im done posting on this thread too. It was a good laff.. until your lack of class showed up.
mccrit.. Your a very lucky man that most on here dont know you..cause I promise you that Cat has far more fans then just me.. and someone will FEED you your words one day.. Id love to be there when it happens. You are a true "asshole" in every sense of the word.. Not to mention a COWARD who attacks a man in his 70s.. Why dont ya try that without your computer cloak..and try someone maybe under 60 you jerk. Many call me a crazy asshole too.. But im only 44 so im too young for you to attack i presume? Id LOVE to be wrong about you..but sadly I know im not. If your making decisions to attack legends from your own industry.. I would suggest sir that your decision making process is equally as screwed up! I feel for those that are forced to fly with you. What a true piece of work!

Fly safe all.

flynthebug I appreciate your support, however you are wasting bandwith trying to reason with mcrit, his type are to be found under rocks living in the slime all over the world.

Look at the logical side of this issue.

I am quite comfortable with my own self worth as evident by the fact that I am not posting anonymously and am willing to take responsibility for what I say.

mcrit on the other hand is just another cockroach hiding under cover without the courage to come into the light and let everyone examine who he is.

I only responded to him to give him the opportunity to let us see his true self....like you said, a coward.

Not to mention a COWARD who attacks a man in his 70s..

Actually being in my seventies with my background makes it even easier to defend myself in every way, even if mcrit were to physically attack me and he appeared to be stronger I could find an equalizer real quick.

The hard part is picking out where the personal attacks began. Reading back I don't think you can pin that on mcrit, and he is certainly not the only one wallowing in the mud pit.

This was the first cast. Everything else was just banter, misunderstanding, and hilarity before this. No takers.

Second cast. Again, skillfully deflected.

Third cast, and the Cat bites! Totally personal and downhill from there.

Cat was poking sticks long before mcrit got involved, and if I were to describe him with one word it would be "provoker". Even his avatar is combative. But that's not necessarily where it started either. The whole thread was asking for a disagreeable response, inside jokes notwithstanding.
