question about yqb service

Hi,

My mother in law is flying on ws645 yqb - yyz tomorrow night. its her first flight ever and is unilingual francophone. is there a bilingual flt attendant on board or is it simply taped recordings??? as you can imagine shes a little nervous and having an actual french speaker as part of the crew would be great.

Pretty sure that it's company policy to have 'at least' one French speaking flight attendant on the YQB flights. I haven't done any myself however it's my understanding that the company chose not to go into YQB until we could satisfy this policy.
