Looking for advice on CDrom or Online based Ground School

Hi All,

I am dabbling in the idea of flying and would like to know if you could recommend a CDRom based ground school course or online ground school course, preferably CDrom (so I can do it offline).

This is more for a hobby based passion then a career.

I found at Aerotech, the Canadian Private Pilot Groundschool Course for 199$ and was thinking of starting there.

I might one day take a classroom course at Laurentide Aviation but since I missed the April start I figured I would start somewhere.

Any suggestions.

I was reviewing the on-line Groundschool for the ATPL from Harv's in Steinbach Manitoba.

Reviewing to for effective content since I've had one for 30 years. It was extremely effective. Since most of their training is oriented towards private commercial, I suspect they would be the most polished offerings.
