Nice Slats! Great angle looking down at the mountains, I didn't know beavers went that high. Looks like a lot of compression on that last pic especially. Has float season started up there yet?
A few more recent ones from the coast.

Re: Pic from a swamper
Hey buddy, yeah that last pic was heavily cropped and straightened from some sub-par photograph (the striations in the rock were too cool though) that was no doubt snapped at the exact moment that an up/down draft gained or lost me 1000' in my 10,000' attempt
Although later I did achieve some personal "Beaver bests".....over 13500 empty and 9600 with a canoe
Ice is off the river and the smaller lakes but is still holding out on the big ones, but that won't stop me from bringing up the first of the float birds tomorrow hopefully.
One day I'll wise up and join you were this sort of ice situation doesn't occur.
As usual, great pics!

Ah the approach to CAH3 just isn't the same without the mill and swinging Dredge Crane working....Loved flying out of there.

It would be fantastic to see everyone on avcanada who has flown in QEH or YKA post something here! QEH is close to 20000 hours. there must be a few of you here. In QEH's first log book Mel logged his first hour when she just had about 5hrs since new!. He pokes his nose around here every now and again... If anybody has any thing to pass on to him, i'll make sure he gets the message.

Silly question -- -- Is the mouth of an inlet where the river runs in, or where the inlet joins the rest of the ocean?

Fine pictures FP.
Going back a ways, but I can remember when LEA was owned by Eastern Provincial Airways.

The Green Airways Otter looks to be a Polish Conversion. Didn't know they were running one.
