Shortly after take-off the flying pilot was forced to take immediate action to avoid a conflicting traffic which was rapidly approaching its flightpath. The A320 stopped its climb and began a sharp descend combined with a turn until the conflict was resolved and normal climb-out established again. According to pilot statements the other traffic was most probably a military aircraft. No injuries reported.

There was no traffic advisory from ATC and they indicated that they were not aware of conflicting traffic. The crew received no TCAS warning and there was no TCAS target on the navigation display

Good job by the Skyservice crew. Nice to see some guys/gals are still looking out the window!! This could have ended much worse if they had both been heads down.....
