Westjet FA Uniforms
Westjet's supposed to have been rolling out a new look for their FAs this month to reflect the airline's attempt to attract business travellers. From what I've been told it's almost identical to what Air Canada has their FAs wearing... right down to being supplied from VF Imagewear. Has anybody seen them in their new duds? Thoughts? Does anybody know if this means the pilots are getting a new look too?
Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
The pilots were put in to black instaed of navy blue. Silver wings, belt buckle, epaulets. Doesn't look much different, but far more comfortable than our last supplier.

I think the FAs look great. Much improved to the old uniform.
Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
Pilots have the same uni except for the hat and blazer. VF does ours as well.

Well......... with some of the cute female sweeties you guys have as FAs, how about cut-off's and tank tops for summer apparel.

LMAO!
I want to die like my grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming in terror like his passengers...
Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
The Male FAs need a tie though....way too casual and does not match the females
Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
Ties are coming for male F/A's. Sooner than later.
Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
A little off topic but, do F/O's still help groom on turn arounds?

Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
Everybody grooms. Travelling standby as an employee? you groom. Whatever it takes to help and get the plane turned around safely.
Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
Flight crew groom the cabin once any pertinent operational requirements are met(ie Flight Plan reviewed, etc).

Broad as an axe handle, you say!!!

Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
Too bad the pilots could not get a nice blazer too. (no hat). Now the flight attendants look way more formal and professional than we do with our leather bomber / lululemon jackets.

Did you really mean to say "safely"?balfour wrote:Everybody grooms. Travelling standby as an employee? you groom. Whatever it takes to help and get the plane turned around safely.
Re: Westjet FA Uniforms
Just noticed the new uniforms a couple weeks ago. I think they look great, but I wasn't really paying attention to the males.

I'm thinking the 'broken marriage' average might go up significantly with the new uniforms...
