bahh hemp is over rated. rainbows r cool. but you cant smoke a rainbow (i dont think.. hmm)

pff! i aint no dope smoking hippe! i hate that stuff. i find pot unpleasant. i have better ways to calm myself and feel all peaceful inside.

anyhow you can be a 2 dimentional square if you like and say..
"we are four times more 'right' than you" "we have more "right angles and straight lines"

and then you have teh 2 dimentional circles on the other end saying "naah dude come join us! come join the circles! unconditional love comeon dude"

and the squares "no. we need straight lines. we have our bible kung fu master to prove it."

and the circles say " nahh dude we got free will and love come on man! you cant smoke a square! come on dude!"

all the while the more enlightened 3d'ers see the situation not as either or, but both-and.
and we see a cylender and know that from one point it is a rectangle and when onemoves and loooks sideways in space you see the circle.

its called the marker trick. you can stay over there in your point of view if you feel more comftorble, but at the cost of missing something huge. there is more. you cant move up in time or down in time or sodeways in time, but you can move those ways in space.

you can only move forward in time and see the past. all the while the present is passing by.
its called hind sight."if i only knew then what i know now." well get your head out of your ass
and look into NOW and you will catch the play!

How some freemen do it:

building hydroponics for myself.

ok so i went back to home hardware and i got a mental breakdown of prices n stuff. so far i got the list here.

LED hanger = 50$ (ight comes with it)
soil = 8$
seeds = 15$
mirrors = 40$
solar panel - 90$/10w
converter/battery - 50$

total...253$ for my own little hydropnics to groqw some food for myself....it seems...rather high or is it just me?

Using soil is not technically hyrdro. Looks by your list that you're planning on going off the grid! The led's are neat in reducing the amount of wasted energy, however using a HPS light will result in a better yield (although it gives off a hella lot of heat). Also, mirrors absorb light (ever see yourself in between two mirrors and see the light refracting until near infinity...
The easier route if you have steady power is using an HPS transformer(ballast) from a street light or warehouse. The serial number should be indicative of wattage but you may have to wire it up (don't worry I was proud when I did one for myself). Should cost you 20 or 30 bucks for the ballast, igniter, and capacitor(?) and you might even get a free reflector (All you need is a good bulb). Nevertheless, mixing water and electricity is a dangerous job. Keep it simple I guess to start. There's some fluorescent grow tubes at Canadian tire for 30 bucks including the ballast and bulbs, but you're looking at more wattage than your producing on a small panel. Ever think of building your own solar panels? The cells are 100 for 60 bucks and you just have to solder them. Also, the sun is about the same as a 1000w HPS, so you might consider doing it the natural way...

Using soil is a good bet in getting the plants to their end the first few times, you'll get a feel for how thirsty and hungry they are. Then you can try some other techniques.
Expect to have put 1000 to 1500 into your garden by the time its fully equipped.
Good luck tho, WITHOUT PREJUDICE

Oh bud you have much to learn...

You're plan is admirable but there is some information you need. LED's have a penetration of about 8 inches max. This means that anything farther than 8 inches from the panel is going to be starved of light, badly. Fluoros are a bit better and with the 46 watt curly CF lamps you can get a bit over a foot of penetration but they need to be used in an array. A 430 watt sunAgro HPS bulb will provide penetration around 18 to 24 inches which is suitable for almost any indoor crop. and a 1000 watt HPS will provide over 36 inches. Along with this is the area that the lamps effectively cover. The LED array is limited to it's footprint, ie. a 12 inch square panel will cover an area of 12 inches square. The CF lamps are about the same... 12 inches square for each 46 watt lamp. The 430 watt SunAgro will cover 9 square feet (3x3) and the 1000 will do roughly 25 square feet (5x5). Staying within these limits you will have results only slightly below what you would have under the sun.

Believe it that mirrors absorb light. The reflectivity of a standard glass mirror is around 70%. A surface mirror, used for lasers and telescopes can be up to 90% and mylar (space blanket, emergency blanket) is around 95 to 98%. Flat white paint is the cheapest and will provide the best reflectivity for the money.

Although the technology is advancing fairly quickly, I believe you will have a lot of trouble maintaining the light with a 10 watt solar panel.

There is a TON of very good information at http://www.cannabisculture.com in the forums. The cannabis growers are on the cutting edge of lighting and hydroponics as well as indoor organics. The process is the same for any stemmed plant. You will find very easily what works and what doesn't.

Read grasshopper... Read.

Peace...

hey john thanks for the input but maybe i should explain more on what im trying to do. ofcourse this is before i read your link you sent me.

first of all im thinking on building a custom barrel with indented holes to put in the "cups" of the seeds/soil. also to address the mirrors, i was merely only using mirrors to fill the gap between plants to help bounce heat/light back into the barrel. i was also going to install an LED light in the middle as i was told it uses less wattage. so therefor the light will shine and heat in all directions and hit all the plants simutaneously without worrying the range issue. i was also going to go by the solar panel and hook it up to a battery to use whatever is needed. since i may be gettigna VERY nice deal getting 15w solar panel for 39.99 at canadian tire possibly i will be picking up a few of them and thus generating more power. the LED lights i was looking at only needs 1w and the panels altgether (providing im picking up atleast 3) would produce 45w a day and storing the rest. so now that we have the light and the little motor my barrel needs to slowly rotate my plants. this will provide maximum growth and maximum nutrition for the plants to grow the quickest way i found according to my research.

the way i woudl set it up is like this guys barrel hes got going on....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCTOR6m3k9w

what exactly is a HPS transformer o.0

also buying solar cells for 100/60$ dont i have to wire them and so on, considering that my solar panel knowledge is limted atm i dont exactly know what else to do.
************************************************************************************************

by T. Knackstedt » Fri Jul 10, 2009 5:31 am

Hey Syn, you gotta remember that the rating on those panels is with direct exposure from the sun (aka peak power). Most of the time you'll only have have a fraction (probably half) of the rated output. You can also consider the return on investment for the panels. I used to sell environmental upgrades for houses. Sure the panels are worth having in case the power goes out, but short of that security, chances are the panels wont pay for themselves anytime soon (if ever). A KwH costs around 10 cents, so do the math...
Sounds like you're finding a hobby though...If guys can put 100k into their cars to make them do a 1/4 mile in under 10 seconds, then the costs for the panels are justified (especially if you dont blow yourself up in the process). Check out ebay for the solar cells. There are a few vids on youtube on connecting them.

Good luck,

yea i know i dont expect to get full power from the panels. i cant stand ppl dropping 100k on a car when they can do something usefull like get off the grid. but anyways so in the end if i make my own solar panel from scratch, how much could i return it or sell it. and how much would a home made solar panel cost along with all the essential tools.

and your point is??

i mean really just cos some people smoke pot in WFS dont make us all lazy ass loser hippies.

i could find a news article about a canadian that raped someone and use that to place all canadians as rapists.

anyhow rocky the smile face is right, the pot plant in the back.. bahh wrong. i hate that stuff.
not because its imoral or ilegal, i just find the whole experoence of pot unpleasant.

meh suit yourself. in the second dimention a one is either a square or a circle. in the box or out, its either-or one can never be another due to the restrictions of that dimention.

weather you are a square or a circle, you are still stuck.

Hmmm. Interesting.

But, what if you're a triangle? Are you stuck then? Or maybe just a straight line. It's pretty hard to be stuck inside a straight line. I think from now on I'm going to be a straight line so I'll never get stuck.

I, on the other hand, think marihuana is a great little plant, and if more people used oral cannabis, they'd probably have better attention spans for reading Law, after adjusting to the state, of course.

Huh. So, do you have to go somewhere to pick up your cheque, or is it just mailed to you? I understand the complexities of getting mail when you're of no fixed address, so I find this very interesting.

How about a 'Pilots versus the Freemen' baseball game? YYC or YYZ maybe? Kinda fun...watching the Freemen challenge all the rules; trying to score runs without doing any work; all stoned and eating all the hotdogs; arguing with each other on what the rules are; Rob making a series of videos on why the umpire's understanding of the rules is all wrong, and only he knows how to deconstruct them. Rob playing baseball in a little round hat. Could be fun.

I miss anything?

Rob Menard...>Me too! Unfortunately Allen Boisjolie is a thief and has stolen the rental car hired for this trip, and left me in a motel in Parry Sound and abandoned my stuff outside his door. I did not like how he drove and told him we would have to have a chat about his driving habits. ie steering with his knee, while passing a semi on a curve and crossing a double yellow line while using both hands to light a hookah. He made me nervous and I told him last night the reason we had to take a motel instead of driving on to Bancroft or Bracebridge was due to me losing trust in his abilities when we had gone 12 hours already. A relaxed driving attitude is one thing, taking needless risks and not driving in a manner that is either prudent or responsible needs to be addressed and when I told him we would discuss it like adults in the morning after we had rested, he agreed and this morning I wake up with my stuff outside his door and him and the vehicle gone.

OMG what a arrogant prick!

Think about the worst backseat driver you could imagine...then multiply that by 1000. I just had the 3 most grueling days of my life (the most grueling b4 this was pulling out 96 porcupine quills from my dogs snout, and my sons shin)

Imagine a paranoid schizophrenic, control freak trying to command your very move for 3 days straight!
He harassed me every 10-15 min about such things as: the distance from the vehicle ahead of me, going too fast, going to slow, when to pass, when not to pass, when to smoke a cigarette, when and how much to roll down the window(s), when to shut off the wipers, how loud the music is, what music to play, how long for bathroom breaks, and getting pissed off for stopping to p for 3 min then taking 3 hours to sit and post on the forum at dinner which was usually at some overpriced hotel restaurant...I brought my own money for food, but he insisted on buying all the meals...trying to play a big-shot!

the $100 you told me was for driving went in fuel b4 we even arrived in perry sound bud! I will be giving a copy of all the receipts I have was mostly just gas and drinks at the fuel stops.

how could i have stolen a car that was rented by my cousin. Me and him are the only registered drivers? and he gave $400 for gas and you gave me $100...it cost $525 all together for the gas. so I even used $25 of my own money for your gas...not to mention I had to borrow money to get back, plus the hand fulls of weed he just decided to start grabbing from my bag when he was out...I told him I was saving it for my dad, who lives in Ont. on the way! Oh and the 3 packs of smokes he got off me and said he would pay for but never did!! NO WONDER THEY ARE CALLING US FREELOADERS on other forums!

as for leaving you there....i just couldn't stand the thought of spending another second with you.
As far as being friends...that will never happen. how I see it is this; you are likened to a snake oil charmer, a friggin charlatan!!
As for thinking we are friends....in a dream of yours maybe! We are polar opposites; i am honest, righteous and real; and, you are deceitful and a huge POSER!

what took the cake was when he said he wanted me to be his opening act...I told him I wasn't there to act!

this guy sure aint no freeman..I have never seen someone so paranoid of authority..every time he seen a roof-rack or white car he would get all jumpy and start pointing like a major heat bag, and he feels like crossing a solid line on the road is a felony!

and its not a hookah...its a chillum get it right man!

getting donations off good people for the society and spending lavishly on $50 breakfasts and the like is quite shameful in my books.

a comedian hey...more like a clown.

oh and by the way don't bother replying rob; your words are worthless to me now, and I will not even read them..u are about the biggest looser i ever met! u friggin charlatan!

I will be creating my own society type structure if any of you are interested...or maybe if the world freeman society wants to hear my ideas an get rid of the pathetic children`s stories, and get started on something real, something that actually works.

being around rob was so terrible for me...he exudes negativity and gets angry at the drop of a hat....not even close to what he advocates. He would constantly try to cause a conflict...nagging to such a point that i considered knocking him out about 23 times along the way...just to get some peace and quiet! What a control freak!

it pretty much started at patriks, when i told him; people with kids, family and lots to lose, are starting to listen to him, and they are scared, and its a big deal....especially after meeting Blair and his family...(HATS OFF TO YOU BLAIR OF THUNDER BAY, ONT now that is a true FREEMAN!! he has sacrificed much...and my hand is extended to him at any time!) anyway I tried to explain how it was and is with my family...when I decided to do this I promised my kids they would have a say in the matter...and rob got so angry and started yelling about how it was a cop-out, for not getting rid of my SIN....he wants everyone to be like him i guess; a traveling gypsy living off the generosity of others!

I think not...this is how i see the situation...a child of the province is having a fit and decided to jump over the fence to the empty lot....and he`s trying to entice us to go with him...sure there is freedom a plenty...but what the @#$! u gonna do with it if the rest of society wont acknowledge your existence! u suck rob!

negetive its not about the driving stuff...i just had to rant that out. I was up for 32 hours driving when i wrote that...so it is a bit raw.

its about Rob Menard taking advantage of good people...getting money off them to put towards a society..and then not doing or being who he says he is....its called lying!! Dude i sacrificed much to get this guy to his destination...i used my bill money to make the trip, and I had to borrow $425 just to get back, which i have to pay my friends and my mom back for! I'm out alot of cash because of this...I coulda just stayed home and payed my bills, but I believed in Rob so I sacrificed for him...then I find out he's just a scammer!

so now I wanna warn people, so they don't get scammed too. Is that so hard to understand?
