Job for Australian moving to CA

Post by lk978 »

Hi I am curious to what the corporate job scene is like at the moment.

I am and australian relocating with working visa (qualify for working holiday, only 22 yo)... I have 1850TT, 1200 turbine/jet, type rated on C208, DHC-6, C525 and C750, among others. Just want to know if I am wasting my time. I am after some good fun flying and not looking to go to the airlines.

P.S. I am not trying to take your jobs, if there is a C208 qualified pilot they are welcome to take my old job in Australia.

That is the Canadian Civil Aircraft Registry, just enter the type, for example
for the Citation CJ just enter 525 - and you get every aircraft registered in
Canada, the owners name and address - and usually where the aircraft is
based..

Good luck on your job search - and you'll love BC.

Here's a couple of shots of Vancouver Harbour!!!

Hello my friend, we are almost in the same situation, I am Venezuelan, moving to Canada soon and trying to get a job there, I have permanent resident visa. I have FAA ATP, ICAO commercial and Transport of Canada ATP license. My total flying time is 3000 hours and I have been flying the CJ2 for almost 4 years. I am 36 and have a wife and a 20 months old baby girl so I have been very careful at the moment of making a decision to move because I want to do it with at least a good chance of getting a job. Avcanada is a good place to start your searching, I could recommend bestaviation and pilotcareercentre website.

Good luck in your searching and let me know if you can do it!!!.
